I have been a photographer for 10 years. My work is mainly in the traditional medium of darkroom developed black & white photography. I am endlessly fascinated, and sometimes frustrated, by the development of the latent image. I enjoy the whole process from initially seeing an image, assessing the situation, taking the photograph, and finally seeing the image materialise in print as my interpretation of the original image. I also combine traditional photography with digital imaging. It enables me to work quickly and see results quickly, essential at a wedding, or in a gale force wind out at sea covering a yacht race. Enjoy browsing through the portfolios and if you are in the area, please take time to visit the gallery in West Sussex. "Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art" -Ansel Adams |
Prints are available to viewed and purchased in a gallery in the Bosham Walk Art & Craft Centre, located in the Old Village of Bosham in West Sussex.

All black & white prints are hand processed and washed for archival storage.
Toning is used to enhance prints, by adding a colour. This varies from sepia, selenium to blue toned. Often a mixture of these are used to cause a 'split tone' effect.
All colour prints are on produced on FujiFilm Crystal Archive photographic paper, which is fade resistant for 150 years.
A 'Limited Edition Print' means that it is one of a set of identical prints numbered in succession and signed by the photographer. The total number of prints is fixed or "limited" by the photographer and each print comes with a 'Limited Edition Certificate'. An "Open Edition Print" has no total number of prints but is signed by the photograher.
